Plain keyword terms are treated as exact matches, with Reddit's fuzzy expansions filtered out when records are ingested. Broader behaviour is still available through phrase and wildcard syntax.
Why it matters
Reddit's search quietly widens your query, so a specific product name returns loosely related posts. Every one of those is noise you have to read before dismissing.
How to use it
Nothing to change. Use quotes for exact phrases or wildcards when you deliberately want a wider net — the same syntax covered in the Keyword Monitor docs.
