Find out where your customers are on Reddit — researched, not guessed

NewDashboardAug 28, 2026

What changed

Prowlo can now research where your customers are on Reddit for you. Start a run from the new Research page (or ask your agent to call research_run), and about ten minutes later you get a report built from roughly 1,000 recent posts and 3,000 comments read across candidate subreddits:

  • Communities, ranked in tiers — each with the quotes that prove your audience is there, the subreddit's rules (self-promotion policy included), and how active it really is.
  • What content wins — the post formats, title patterns, and comment styles that get traction in each community, with examples.
  • Competitors on Reddit — who gets mentioned, where, and whether people recommend, complain, or compare.
  • Voice of customer — the pains, vocabulary, and objections in your customers' own words, every quote linked to its thread.
  • The plan — per-community plays, a 30-day schedule, and the threads worth answering this week.

Every quote in the report is checked against the source thread before it's shown — nothing paraphrased, nothing invented.

Why it matters

"Which subreddits should we be in?" used to mean an afternoon of guessing, lurking, and reading sidebars. The report answers it with evidence, and it ends with one-click proposals: the Watchers, keywords, and Alerts that follow from what it found. Your first run is free; later runs use AI credits from your plan.

How to use it

Open Research in the dashboard and click New research — Prowlo uses your product profile, so make sure the description and target audience are filled in. Over MCP, ask your agent to "research where my customers are on Reddit": it calls research_run, then reads the report with research_get before recommending communities or drafting anything. See the MCP setup guide for the tool reference.
