Posting rules, in plain words
Self-promotion is judged case by case.
- Sharing Links and Resources: Sharing links, including referral links and links to external sites like blogs or articles, is permitted as long as they are relevant to side hustles, are helpful, or are positively adding to a discussion. As a rule of thumb, links are only allowed if it is a value-add to the broader community. Otherwise, links that are not considered a value-add to the broader community will be removed.
- Put Effort Into Your Posts: Please put effort into your posts and comments. Content should add value to the community, contribute constructively to discussions, or initiate meaningful conversation.
Quoted from the community’s own published rules. Always re-read them before posting.

r/SideHustleGold — frequently asked
How many members does r/SideHustleGold have?
r/SideHustleGold has 127,587 members as of our most recent crawl on Sep 21. Prowlo re-checks tracked communities on a rolling schedule, so this figure moves rather than sitting frozen at whatever it was when a scraper last ran.
Is r/SideHustleGold growing?
We don't have 30 days of snapshot history for r/SideHustleGold yet, so we're not going to invent a growth number. We've been tracking it since Sep 2; the chart fills in as history accumulates.
How active is r/SideHustleGold?
We don't have a reliable posting-rate sample for r/SideHustleGold yet. Subscriber count alone is a poor guide to whether a community is active, so treat this one as unverified until the next sample lands.
When was r/SideHustleGold created?
r/SideHustleGold was founded in May 2025 and is a public — anyone can post community. Age matters: an older community with steady growth has survived Reddit's moderation churn; a young one with a spike may not.
Can I promote my product in r/SideHustleGold?
r/SideHustleGold publishes 8 rules and 1 of them addresses promotion. The first, “No Illegal Activities”, says: Any content that discusses or promotes illegal activities is strictly prohibited. Read the full rule text on this page and the community's rules page before posting — moderator enforcement is the thing that actually decides.
How do I monitor r/SideHustleGold for mentions?
Hit Watch on this page. Prowlo starts crawling r/SideHustleGold into your Dataset — every new post indexed and embedded, searchable semantically, queryable by your AI agent over MCP, and able to trigger keyword alerts in Slack. Prowlo is read-only; it never posts on your behalf.
Can my AI agent read r/SideHustleGold's stats?
Yes. Everything on this page is one MCP tool call away: catalog_get_subreddit returns r/SideHustleGold's members, growth, promo tolerance and similar communities as typed JSON — free, no credits. Connect your agent to api.prowlo.com/mcp and it can vet the community and start watching it in the same conversation.
