We exist to provide a safe haven for all followers of Jesus Christ to discuss God, Jesus, the Bible, and information relative to our beliefs, and to provide non-believers a place to ask questions about Christianity as explained in the scriptures, without fear of mockery or debasement. For convenience, we use the Nicene Creed as our standard for people to self-identify as Christians, as this is an ecumenical space, and Protestants, Orthodox, and Catholics all agree with the creed.
/r/Catholicism is a place to present new developments in the world of Catholicism, discuss theological teachings of the Catholic Church, provide an avenue for reasonable dialogue amongst people of all beliefs, and grow in our own spirituality. Catholic Christianity offers the world the fullness of the Christian Faith.
This is a community for progressive Christians and friends to discuss our faith, support each other, and share inspiration for our spiritual journeys. We seek God's message of Peace, Love, and Grace through following the Spirit of Christ.
