   This community exists to share genuine experiences and advice — not to sell products, services, or promote personal gain. Posts or comments that promote a company, service, website, or product (including affiliate links, referral codes, and disguised marketing) will be removed. If you are affiliated with a company, you must clearly disclose your connection and contribute value first — not advertisements. Repeat or deceptive self-promotion may result in a permanent ban.

2. No Surveys or Research Requests Without Moderator Approval

   To maintain the quality and focus of this community, all survey links, research participation requests, academic studies, market research, and media interview solicitations must be approved by the moderators before posting. We regularly receive requests from students, journalists, and companies seeking input from practicing physicians, and while some are legitimate, many are thinly disguised marketing or data-collection efforts. Unapproved posts of this nature will be removed immediately.

3. No Self Promotion

   This community is for physicians helping physicians — not a marketing platform. Posts or comments that exist primarily to promote yourself, your business, your YouTube channel, podcast, website, course, or social media content are not allowed without prior moderator approval. This includes indirect promotion such as linking to your own content in multiple threads, name-dropping your brand, or posting “helpful” resources that lead to your own products or consulting services.

4. No Astroturfing

   Astroturfing is the deceptive practice of hiding the sponsors of an orchestrated message or organization to make it appear as though it originates from, and is supported by, unsolicited grassroots participants. Repeated astroturfing can get any mention of your organization banned from thissubreddit.
